PERMIAN BASIN – CLASS A HAZMAT TANKER DRIVER (CHEMICAL & ACID)

We are seeking an experienced Hazmat CDL Class A Driver to join our team of professional, customer-focused drivers in the Permian Basin.

Applicants must currently reside in the Permian Basin region.

This position is responsible for safely transporting hazardous liquid products, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all company and DOT regulations. Candidates must have experience hauling liquid hazardous materials (preferably acids and chemicals) and be willing to work weekends and nights when needed.

Compensation

  • $1,750–$2,500 per week (paid by the load)
  • Potential annual earnings of up to $120,000

Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle safely in interstate commerce.
  • Haul assigned loads locally, regionally, and interstate.
  • Transport hazardous liquid chemicals, acids, dry bulk products, and palletized freight.
  • Safely load, unload, and secure cargo in accordance with company and DOT regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Verify load documentation and ensure proper placarding for hazardous materials.
  • Follow routes and instructions provided by dispatch.
  • Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs using the company’s Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
  • Report equipment issues, accidents, traffic violations, and damage promptly.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and wear required PPE at all times.
  • Be available to work weekends and extended hours when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience (required).
  • Experience hauling hazardous chemicals or acids (required).
  • Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
  • Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain professional working relationships with customers and coworkers.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
